The Gypsy Vanner, is a type or breed of domestic horse from the British Isles.
Gypsy Vanners were bred by European Gypsies. The Gypsies were wanting a small shire that was colorful enough to match their caravans;and so the Gypsy Vanner was born.Gypsy people also used the horses to "babysit". They would leave children there and the kids would climb all over them.
Most Gypsy Vanners are black and white. They are known for their long mane and tail and full feathering around their hooves. They are magnificent creatures!
