A stallion is a male horse. The stallion is the leader of the group, which is made up of female horses and foals. The stallion is the toughest horse in the group,it stays and protects the females and the foals while they are grazing. Males from other groups usually come and fight the stallion to show off to the females, these fights usually end with one horse backing off before it is injured.
