Criollo

It is the typical horse of Argentina, descended from Spanish horses brought by the conquistadors in the sixteenth century. Rustic, tough and very adapted to the environment, also usually patient, agile and docile.

History[]

The Criollo horse breed was developed from horses that had been imported from Spain. They were allowed to run wild in Argentina for around 300 years.
